Why Diapers Matter?

Every baby and toddler needs clean diapers. If a child’s family cannot afford enough diapers to keep them clean, dry, and healthy.

  • Babies cannot attend child care
  • Parents miss work or school

The Healthy Mom&Baby Diaper Drive is fueled by passionate nurses across the U.S., that often see the health complications, such as serious rashes and infections caused by diapers left on too long or dried out and reused.

Since 2015, the Healthy Mom&Baby Diaper Drive working in partnership with exclusive sponsor Huggies™ and the non-profit National Diaper Bank Network has supported AWHONN nurses who collect diapers and share them with families in need in their communities.

Thank you so very much for your incredible generosity to the Bakersfield Pregnancy Center. The diapers are just an important help to our clients and our community. We rejoice that our shelves are fully stocked with just the needed sizes in just the right quantity! We are so very grateful for your incredible kindness to the BPC and we look forward to providing the diapers those in need.

Thank you!

Thank you for hosting diaper drives to benefit Lighthouse’s Diaper Bank. Your donation of thousands of disposable diapers will positively impact affect many families in our area. Your generosity allows Lighthouse to keep our Diaper Bank program running, and to give our clients this essential resource they so desperately need.

As the economic demands of area families continue to increase, parents are often faced with difficult decisions in their budget. Diapers are an essential item they must provide yet often cannot afford. Because of your contribution, fewer children in low-income households will experience health problems associated with diaper need, more parents will be able to go to work, and families will get the change to thrive.

Thank you seems incomplete for the amount of goodness each of you has shown to Brigid Collins Family Support Center by including us in the Women & Children's/ Perinatal Health Summit and the diaper drive. We are beyond grateful! I am a firm believer that each one of us plays a vital role in sharing our skills to keep our community healthy and whole specifically when it comes to women and children. AWHONN showed up in a huge way by supporting BCFSC with this fantastic diaper drive.
